Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point May-August 2017 Construction Update

Steel Vengeance is a hyper-hybrid coaster coming to Cedar Point in 2017 and was known as “RMC Mean Streak” before Cedar Point announced the ride.

The coaster looks incredible and has had some amazing progress the past 3 months! Below are some pictures of the construction progress!

This picture was taken in early May and at this point in time, this was the only part of the ride that was complete.

This picture was taken in late June and when this photo was taken they had just added the turnaround towards the middle of the ride!
This picture was taken on August 16th after the announcement for the ride! They are 85% done with the ride as just the rest of the lift hill and the drop need to be completed!
This picture was taken on August 16th – the same day as the picture above and shows the two overbanked turns and break run which can be seen near SlingShot!

The ride looks amazing and I hope you enjoyed seeing some pictures of the construction progress of the ride!

Make sure to leave a comment if you enjoyed this so, before the end of the season, I will make a September-October construction update! I will be visiting the new Impersonation: No Way Out haunted house during HalloWeekends that is in the infield of Steel Vengeance! I will then get the chance to get close up pictures of the new ride!
