Walt Disney World Vacation Day 1 Trip Report! – July 10th, 2018

In celebration of the Coaster to Coaster 1 Year Anniversary, I planned a 1 week trip to Walt Disney World to celebrate!

Day 1 is flying to Orlando, FL and then going to Epcot!

The flight went pretty soon and it wasn’t delayed at all. It also arrived around 15 minutes before the scheduled arrival time when booked.

When at the Orlando, FL airport somehow my MagicBand got lost and fell somewhere in the airport. I wasn’t really surprised when I found out on the monorail because it wasn’t clicking in properly to tighten and fell off my wrist during the flight (I put it back on, of course.)

I looked for the luggage and realized that it is being sent to the room. Then I deactivated the other MagicBand so no one could use it (it was just on the floor somewhere in the MCO airport).

Once I got to the hotel, I got a replacement for free. It was grey but I was perfectly fine with that. I originally had blue but at least I had a MagicBand (with no extra fee).

Once I arrived at the hotel, I had something to eat which I didn’t have anything to eat or drink at all that entire day (running late at the airport). I had 2 Chicken Wraps and a Mickey Shaped Rice Krispie Treat that had a chocolate dip and sprinkles at the top.

Then I went to Epcot. I rode The Seas with Nemo & Friends and then did some walking around and sight-seeing.

I went to a fast food place to get courtesy water. Then I rode the Soarin’ Around the World and skipped my MISSION: Space blog post to ride Soarin’. I rode Journey into Imagination with Figment.

Then I went to the Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria which I had a reservation for 5:25 p.m. I had a House Salad which I really enjoyed. The vinaigrette dressing was good. I got a Picante Pizza which had tomatoes, mozzarella, and Italian spicy sausage. I really enjoyed it!

I walked around the park to do some sightseeing and travel around the world! I got to try this Chocolate Tarte and Ice Cream which I forgot to vlog or take photos of but it was so good!

After that, for the rest of the night, I walked around and saw the different regions of the park! It was pretty neat!

I had a FastPass+ for the IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth show which I really enjoyed and got all of it on video!

I was going to stay for the Extra Magic Hours to try and ride Test Track but it was closed due to the storms.

It thundered and was storming the entire night and then I got a snack when I came back to the hotel.

Overall it was a really good day and the next stop is the Magic Kingdom!

Have fun on your vacation. I loved Disney when I was young. If you’ve never seen it before, it can be pretty amazing. These days, the Florida parks that I visit are usually Sea World Orlando and Busch Gardens Tampa. Check them out if you have a chance.

    1. Thank you! I absolutely love Disney World! It’s pretty cool! I am going to try to check out those parks in the near future as I have heard good things about them! Thanks for reading and your recommendation!
