Hi! My name is Brandon and I love roller coasters! I have loved them since I was 8 years old! I am going to tell you a little bit about me and then tell you how and why I created Coaster to Coaster! My home park is Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH, and I continue to visit the park multiple times a year! I love riding roller coasters when I go there and I also enjoy their HalloWeekends Halloween event that starts in mid-September! I was fortunate enough to get season passes in 2013 and I have had them since! I love roller coasters because it is a very exciting thrill in just a few minutes! Each one is different and unique and has its own elements which deliveries it’s own thrill to guests! Other than roller coasters, I like to write, watch YouTube videos, play the Piano and Trumpet, swim, read, and bike ride! Continue below and read a timeline of how I created and improved Coaster to Coaster!
The Production of Coaster to Coaster & Why it Started
In May of 2017, I started a YouTube channel under my own personal name. At the time, I had a video editor, Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate, which I got for Christmas of 2016! I posted 1 video per week which was a vlog from my visit to Cedar Point that weekend, or footage from it! During this time, I wasn’t very good at video editing and I didn’t have a high-quality camera. I also had a blog where I wrote articles, but I still wasn’t very good at making a website and I didn’t know how to customize it and make it very fancy.
In June of 2017, I went to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL for a week after my school got out and I was going to post vlogs from my trip after, but then I decided to revamp my YouTube channel and I deleted my Blog which at the time was a lot of work and I didn’t have the time to do it. I then used the money I saved up to that time to buy the Nikon A900, a green screen, tripod, and studio lights! I also combined that with the APEMAN A60 Action Camera and Pinnacle Studio 20 Ultimate which I had already owned! The channel name, brandontotheparks lasted for a month! The videos weren’t really quality and I really wanted to make a successful brand. I watched tutorials on YouTube! I created a website and all of this took around 2 weeks! I was finally ready to start my brand and make it successful! I also had to come up with a name which is really hard for coaster related channels because a lot of names people have already thought of! I thought of Coaster to Coaster because I go from coaster to coaster at parks and I thought for people who like coasters it was a perfect name!
Coaster to Coaster
On July 29th, 2017, Coaster to Coaster launch! I first posted a blog post and then a YouTube video which was the beginning!
In September of 2017, I created a merch store for Coaster to Coaster and Haunt to Haunt which at the time wasn’t launched yet! I made a logo for Haunt to Haunt and changed all Coaster to Coaster branding to it, except the logo, which for Haunt to Haunt was featured in the header photo.
In February of 2018, I started to work harder on my content itself. I changed my upload schedule to something I could upkeep and also keep the quality. I worked on planning my videos effectively so that I am prepared when I film. I also worked on learning advanced editing to make my videos even better.
I have a new technique for my vlogs which I tried during my Spring Break trip at Carowinds and I changed all branding again for the next couple of months!
A huge month for Coaster to Coaster! I discontinued a few series and deleted all the videos from them and deleted videos I no longer want on my channel. I created new videos for the channel, planned future videos, and I updated all platforms and content for Coaster to Coaster!
