Coaster Credits

Like most roller coaster enthusiasts, I like to keep a list of all of the roller coasters that I have ridden. A roller coaster “credit” is a ride that can be considered a roller coaster, that counts toward the total amount of roller coasters a person has ridden.

There are many types of coasters or rules (like a coaster with two separate tracks) that can be argued about whether or not it can count. Due to this, here is how my roller coaster credit system works, including which types of coasters I include/don’t include:

  • Listed below is my current coaster credit list as of when it was last updated
  • Credits are listed under the park names
  • The numbers next to the park names are how many roller coasters I have ridden at the park
  • Dueling coasters or roller coasters with two separate tracks count as 1 credit per side or track I have ridden, counting for a total of 2 credits, given I have ridden both tracks/sides
    • If only 1 credit is indicated, then I did not ride both sides or tracks
  • Roller coasters that have been transformed also count as 2 credits, given I have ridden both versions of the ride
    • For example, a Stand-Up coaster to a floorless coaster
    • If only 1 credit is indicated, then I did not ride both experiences
  • Any roller coaster that is bold in red indicates it is no longer operating
    • Roller coasters no longer in operation still count as a roller coaster credit, given the person accrediting it has ridden it while it was operating
  • Any roller coaster bold in green indicates that it is a credit of a milestone or of great importance
    • For example, my 50th Coaster Credit
